The Oxford University Centre for Corporate Reputation hosted the R:ETRO Symposium from July 2 to July 4, 2023: Alan Morrison and Rita Mota are the extraordinary co-conveners of this initiative, which managed to create a fantastic community of scholars over the past years. I want to express to them, and to Rupert Younger, whom I finally had the pleasure to meet in person, gratitude for this event which brought us together after an academic year of online seminars. Special thanks to Rachel Best and Hannah Cooper for making the event possible.

I had the opportunity to present the article co-authored with Pablo Garcia Ruiz (Universidad de Zaragoza). Edward David, DPhil had the patience to read it and be an extraordinary discussant: thank you Edward, and thank you all for the constructive comments and feedback.
